Beautiful article – thank you for this!
You have hit the very root of our problem in America in my opinion. We seem to have forgotten what we are taught about “The Great Depresion,” when compassion and love were the only gift’s to give. Today it seems everything centers around monitary possesions.
Every now and again compassion raises it head. When a family member passes, or a tragity occours. We need to start realizing that compasion and love is much more rewarding than items we will not be able to take with us. It’s never to late to search ones soul. Thank you for sharing, and putting things in perspective. Happy Holliday’s and prayers to all victim’s of violence.
